HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems use an Angle Valve Flanged End PN16 end for 2-position or modulating control of steam, hot water, or chilled water-glycol solutions up to 50% concentration. Pressure Nominale is referred to as PN. The PN prefixes the pressure rating of the flanges. For instance, the PN16 flange can function at up to 16 levels.
